Before your first post
Give every post a purpose.
Choose who you want to help, one question they have, and the next step you would like them to take. Keep your business name, description, contact details, and website link consistent across your profiles.
- Pick one goal. A website visit, an inquiry, a booking, or a demo request is clearer than trying to get every type of response at once.
- Show something real. Photograph your work, explain a process, or answer a question. Use photos you own or have permission to share.
- Make the destination relevant. A post about a service should link to that service or its inquiry page.
- Track useful results. Review visits, inquiries, and signups alongside views and likes. Let those results inform your next post.
01 / FacebookBe useful to your community.
Make your business Page easy to understand: what you do, who you serve, and how to reach you. Share a helpful answer, a photo of your work, or a short introduction. Respond thoughtfully to questions.
- Introduce one service with a clear, relevant photo.
- Answer a common customer question in a short post or video.
- Where group rules allow business posts, contribute helpful context before sharing a link.
- Use a simple next step, such as reading your guide or requesting more information.

02 / InstagramShow the work behind the business.
Use clear photos and short videos to make your services tangible. A behind-the-scenes clip, a simple demonstration, or a few useful tips can explain more than a sales pitch.
- Plan one idea per post, carousel, or Reel.
- Film in good light and keep the subject easy to see.
- Add readable on-screen context and captions where useful.
- Tell interested viewers where to learn more, using your profile link or available link features.

03 / LinkedInShare the experience people can learn from.
Complete your Page information and website link. Share useful professional insights, images, or explanations of your work. Participate in relevant conversations instead of treating every post as an advertisement.
- Explain a lesson from your process without revealing private client information.
- Share a practical checklist or a short walkthrough.
- Use a relevant image and a clear opening sentence.
- Review Page analytics and the questions people ask to choose future topics.

04 / YouTubeAnswer one question on camera.
Start with a useful explanation or demonstration. Choose a descriptive title and a thumbnail that accurately represents the video. Give viewers a reason to watch and a relevant place to go next.
- Outline the question, the answer, and one clear next step before recording.
- Prioritize understandable audio and a steady, well-lit picture.
- Show your process or platform using a demonstration account.
- Use YouTube Analytics to learn who watches and which topics bring viewers back.

05 / Digital platformsHelp people understand, try, and return.
A digital platform can have many features. Your introduction should explain one useful outcome for one audience. Build a simple path from a helpful post to a relevant landing page and an easy first action.
- Choose the audience. Say who the platform serves and what problem it helps address.
- Demonstrate one task. Record a short walkthrough with sample information. Show the outcome before listing features.
- Offer one next step. Link to a demo, guide, or signup page that matches the post.
- Make the first experience clear. Explain what to do after signup with a short welcome guide.
- Invite useful feedback. Ask what was helpful or confusing. Use what you learn to improve the experience.
- Measure the full path. Compare visits, completed signups, first actions, and return visits. More impressions alone do not show whether people find value.
A SIMPLE MARKETING PATHHelpful post → relevant website page → demo or signup → clear first action → useful follow-up.
